I pulled out another UFO to finish; a primitive style wallhanging in wool and flannel. This is the second one I’ve made. The other has bright red tulips appliqued on the borders. I thought I would try a softer palette this time so I chose the peachy colored wool for my tulips. Now I just need to layer and start hand quilting. I think I will try a larger stitch and heavier thread to keep the look primitive. FYI, the sheep is done by stitching down separate loops of yarn. Each one took a couple of hours to do but I love the look this gives.
