Embroidery and Beading on Felicity

Last night I finally finished tacking all the wool applique pieces into place.  I was able to begin a little of the embroidery on the small pink bells.  I used silk thread and an easy buttonhole stitch to  finish the pieces.   The daisies at the bottom of  vase  get a Shisha  mirror center, a contrasting chain stitch and then an amethyst glass seed bead at each chain link.  The petals are outlined with bright coral colored perle cotton in a reversed buttonhole stitch.  Attaching the Shisha was a bit if a challenge, six tear outs and then finally a completed piece.  Later today I will work on the other daisy.
