Lovin’ These Little Red-n-White Log Cabin Blocks

In between all my other quilting projects ( I always have 5 or 6 going at one time), my plan is to sit and stitch a few of these tiny log cabin blocks every day.  Since I only want to make a throw size quilt from them, I won’t need quite as many (only 70).  Manageable.  Here’s the blocks for my first row.
And the container of strips is where these little guys come .

Spent a little time tweaking my color selection for my French braid. It’s always better to use the morning light go decide on your fabric colors.  I ended up switching out a few and auditioning my starting and ending  triangle fabrics.  The only thing left is the inner sashing fabric and a coordinating outer bordsr fabric.  This is an excuse to go shopping.  Yes!
