Last night for our guild meeting we had our second annual formal tea. Seven different members volunteered to set a table for six with their personal teapots and cups, saucers and other tea related items. We converged at 3 pm to set our tables and what a bounty of beautiful tea sets were brought for use. Gorgeous fresh tulips were provided by the Program Committee as the centerpiece for each table. Each table was set to perfection.
That evening when the members began arriving, the sweet treats were displayed for all to enjoy. What a bounty of goodies. There were so many varieties of scones, bite size brownies, beautifully decorated petit fours, and so many other delectable tidbits to enjoy, too many to remember but all delicious. A few of our members donned white ruffled caps and aprons to keep in the
mood. What a great bunch of ladies. At Show-n-Tell, our “Ladies of The Braid” did an unveiling of their gorgeous French Braid quilts, each a rainbow of color and as individual as its creator. Just beautiful. A fun filled night was had by all and everyone looks forward to next year’s tea.
