Spring Planting

We have been busy working in our garden.  We finally had to put up tall fencing to keep out the over abundance of wild turkeys, deer and rabbits.  So far we have only been able to plant spring greens; spinach, a variety of lettuce, beets and snow peas.  Maybe in a few days when our weather warms and stabilizes we can get plant our tomatoes, peppers, cukes and squashes.

Here’s a picture of my herb planter.  My chives are blooming.

Everything but the dill wintered over which is hard to believe since it was cold and somewhat snowy.
