Spargo-esque Top Finished

Today I was finally able to finish the last of the beads and embroidery on my folk art wool piece.  I named it after Sue Spargo, my inspiration to get out of my comfort zone and go wild with color and embellishments.  I have it cut down and ready to layer for hand quilting.  It measures 37 inches across.

Sorry the colors are a washed out but it is hard to get the right lighting in the house.  Below are some close ups of the beading and embroidery.

Tomorrow is basting the layers and then echo quilting around all the flowers.  Almost there and only 4 weeks to our quilt show.  Nothing like cutting it close.
