Sunshine Finally

After 3 days of rain, two of which were heavy downpours, today we finally have sunshine and warm temperatures. Monday before the rains came I was able to get my cottage garden mulched.

I planted all the excess day lilies, sedum and hostas in the side garden.  Added a couple of terracotta pieces, my little chalkware garden children, a hummingbird feeder and all that is left is mulching from the 5 yards delivered the other day.

My spiced verbinium (sp) is blooming and smells wonderful.

The sun has gotten my Lily of the Nile to bloom and my heirloom tomato.  It finally feels like springtime here.
