Enjoying a Spring Day Out

Since the weather today was going to be in the mid-60’s we decided to take a road trip.  What better place to go than up to the Princeton area.  I hit my favorite needle work shop, Pins And Needles.   Look at my pretty new perle cotton threads and some Petite Velvet.

Trip is not complete without a stop to Pennington Quilts.  Found a interesting Japanese woven with birds, right and the fun gray cotton with the red, turquoise and yellow birds.  A couple of neutral tone polka dots for backgrounds.

The best was a stop at Goodwill for wool hunting.  Came out of there with 4 blazers, a skirt and a pair of pants.   Have to wash before I bring them into the house.  50% off.  Yahoo!
As always,  a breakfast stop at Mastori’s.  Always a phenomenal breakfast.  Still full from that omelet.  Will post pictures of my new woolies once I wash and dry.
