Slow Progress

Progress has been slow the past couple of days on my newest designs.  Life’s demands have found a  way of getting in the way of my stitching.  But it is all good because it gave me a chance to work on a secret project for a new friend in Vermont, shop for some new fabric and autumn wools and finally figure out the border design I want to try on Princess Sharon’s Autumn Feathers. Here’ s a picture of the green/ brown woven inner border and the brick red with small print cotton for yo guessed it 2″ half square triangles. I will set these a bit different from Tending the Blooms.image

Here’s the wool I couldn’t leave behind at my LQS when I stopped to buy my Thangles. Just love these autumn colors. Can’t wait to start some of my fall designs and use these.image

Now that the lawns are mowed I can get back to stitching.
